The Parish Church of San Siro was one of the historical Parish churches sites in which Camonica Valley was divided into. The complex, which rises above a spur over River Oglio, is reachable through a stairway built in the 1930s. The foundations of the Church in its actual form should date back to the end of the 11th cent.-beginning of the 12th, even though a fragment of a roman epigraph in a window makes us believe it is a roman building previously positioned on the same site, and subsequently turned into a christian cult hearth dating between the 8th and 9th cent. In the crypt there are, infact, pre-roman elements found in pillars and columns. The church belltower had been added later on.
