The Reserve has been instituted in 1983 to protect the patrimony of storiated rocks, archaeological sites and the natural environment of the towns of Ceto, Cimbergo and Paspardo. The figures engraved on the rocks have been realized in about 6000 years (from the Neolithic Era to the Dark Ages) and display intellectual and graphic expressions of very different cultures.
