The "Torre del Popolo" (Tower of the People), also known as Tower of San Fedele, is the main Bell Tower of the city. It is 91 meters high, and it's the highest circle-sectional tower in Italy and one of the highest in Europe. The Tower was built between 1813 and 1838 on one of the fortified towers of the Magna Fortress of Palazzolo, the Mirabella Tower. The first drawings and designs date back to 1803 and they were made by many different architects. The structure lays on one of the great circular map towers of the castle, the Mirabella Tower. On its top we can find the statue of the patron of Palazzolo, San Fedele, which is 6,8 meters high. The total height of the structure is 91,8 meters.
