- Castle of Cimbergo
The Castle of Cimbergo rises over a rock spike right outside the village. We can admire today part of the crenellated walls, built with ashlars from simona stone and bricks that are part of the ancient irregular-pentagonal map construction. The higher pointed vault main entrance and other windows can be viewed as well. The Castle, as the position where was erected witnesses, was most likely a fortress from an episcopal feud during Guelfi and Ghibellini battles. Almost no trace of the inside, supposedly a two-storey construction, can be found today.
